I think the filter helps because it makes Ryo jacket appear darker brown like the original games. I don’t mean to nitpick but I hope if we get a Shenmue 4 it’s more faithful to worn, dark brown jacket we spent so much time looking at in Shenmue 1/2.Ryo looking amazing in this shot.

It reminds me of Master Baihu; the one that Ryo fights in kowloon.Does anyone know who the character in the middle is?

I guess you're right. I just did a little search and looks like It's Baihu without headwear. It reminds me of Master Baihu; the one that Ryo fights in kowloon.
*PS2 graphicsYesterday i've picked up my new gaming laptop; its a Lenovo Legion Pro with a 16" inch Qhd display with 16 gb of ram and an rtx 3070 with 8 gb of vram.
Obviously the first game I installed was Shenmue 3; so here are some photos of how amazing it looks.

"Not bad for a game with Ps3 graphics, not bad at all considering this even looks much better than in my Ps4"
I was just joking; that's what those youtube trolls said when Shenmue 3 was in development.*PS2 graphics
Come on man, get your talking points right. What kind of framerate are you getting in Shenmue 3, anyways? I would love to play this one day at something even better than 1080p and 60fps.
Of course, I was just (clumsily) trying to add on to your joke. Also I don't know if you're playing through Steam/EGS/GOG/etc, but if you're playing on Steam and ever wanna check the framerate, you can do so by clickingI was just joking; that's what those youtube trolls said when Shenmue 3 was in development.
The game looks amazing and runs super smooth.
I'm running it on Gog because I wasn't able activate my steam account on this new laptop today.Of course, I was just (clumsily) trying to add on to your joke. Steam (top left of steam window) > Settings > In-Game
and then select an FPS counter location in the "In-Game FPS Counter" drop-down menu. Though in my experience, you also need to uncheck the "Use the Big Picture Overlay when using a Steam Input enabled controller from the desktop" to get the counter to actually show up.

Or maybe you already know this/don't care about checking FPS, in which case sorry for bombarding you with all this crap lol. I was just bringing it up since I know the monitor on that laptop can display as much as 165 fps, which has got to look pretty crazy in a game this beautiful.
I mean they had $20 million to spend so I assume good graphics is a thing we take for granted right? The people who say Shenmue III is ugly are just plain wrong. The game is looking damn good, especially for its budget. Some people may dislike the game but you can't dislike them graphics.
"It looks like a PS1 game" is basically a call for help that opticians everywhere should heed. The people who say Shenmue III is ugly are just plain wrong. The game is looking damn good, especially for its budget. Some people may dislike the game but you can't dislike them graphics.
