Can't blame them. Shibuya has an event to promote, and Shenmue III is arguably their Ace up the sleeve in terms of reaching a wider audience with the press conference.True. If they kicked things off with Shenmue III, the room would be empty within thirty seconds following its conclusion.
You must be pretty unhappy, then.Everytime i hear Shenmue 3 i'm happy.
...Aaaaand, its over.ITS HERE!!!!
"Yu Suzuki will be at Magic 2019. He's a regular since Shibuya Production co-produce Shenmue III, which is a highly anticipated video game. We'll talk about Shenmue III at the end of the press conf so that you don't leave earlier ( :) ), since I have a lot of things to say, I had to write down stuff as I have to talk about some stuff specifically from a PR standpoint."
Found out the Phoenix Mirror wasn't there.Lan Di only stuck around for Shenmue, left immediately afterwards.
As someone who works in video production... you would be surprised. I think they're just taking a low-cost option because something fancier might not justify itself. I remember last year for the Monaco pre-event press conference they had a company doing the livestream for them, but now they've just got someone with a phone. You'd figure a company like Shibuya would have a better live setup.
