Yeah, I think this might be whats tripping some people up.

I have no idea what the cap is currently. I've seen some people say the game crashes for them if you go much higher than the default res, but I've injected 2k, 4k and 8k textures just to see what I could get away with and it worked fine each time.

I'm down for retexturing as well. I've done retextures for other games in the past like FFX and Mass Effect 2/3 so I'd like to make mods for Shenmue as well.

The red and blue channels are reversed for some reason. Copy them and paste onto a new file red in the blue channel and blue in the red channel

Yeah the menus look like they have the DoF applied to them too, but still it looks great in game.
