Lost Dimension is on PC and good and if you're willing to emulate games as well, then that opens a whole world for you. Langrisser series is a must for fans of Shining Force or Fire Emblem. Front Mission series (mech SRPGs). Tactics Ogre (same style as FFT). Both gritty and amazing series.

It's also worth noting that Suzuki stated in the past that Yuanda Zhu may have been "lying" to Ryo to manipulate him. How this would play out in any future games (or also gets retconned/removed from the plot going forward) will be interesting to see.

There was 3 other writers who worked on Shenmue 3, Suzuki probably just has the outline of the story which they then adapted/scripted. Any story errors (continuity) will be on them mainly, Suzuki as Director would probably get final pass on it but ultimately there's 3 other writers, two of who...

If they don’t know the material and YsNet didn’t bother to inform them about who does what it’s not really their fault, it’s up to the developers to tell the people handling the localization of who established characters are etc. At least I think it is.

The translators probably didn't even know he was in the first game is what I'm guessing. The dialogue/notebook entries are so strange... The guy was one of the main antagonists of the first game, I mean, was this honestly never communicated to the translators? Jesus.

It would be better if they just used all the original materials rather than just recycle so much we already associate with past games. Obviously if we get a Shenmue 4 it would be good if he created some original music again before they end up running out. Or at least stop relying on the music...
