The most incredible power of shenmue and specialy the 3 for me is that feeling of travel. You feel like u're travelling with Ryo. And with the 3 this feeling were very strong and soft.

Being a new Shenmue fan (i discovered the saga with the HD reamaster on 2019) i finished the 2 first games, and it was an amazing moment i felt something i never felt before with a game, then i played the 3 (day one) and... WOW ! What a fucking game ! Soo many things to do so many place to visit...
