A Gamer's Journey (Shenmue Documentary) goes to Kickstarter

Bought the documentary on Vimeo.
Happy to see that it's available :-)

As I would like a physical copy still, I plan to burn it to a blu-ray myself.

Perhaps an option to buy it will come available at a later date?
Hope to hear about this.

There's an interview out there somewhere(might be shenmue master I believe) where Yu Suzuki reveals the character design of Tentei, but it was never shown on camera. I could be mistaken
I’m super late to this but I’m pretty sure this was an interview David Deville had with Yu several years ago. I’m still looking for it.

Here is the interview where he mentions Tentai at the end but he never shows any art-work or drawings as far as I am aware.

@David De ville did confirm he saw artwork of the two other Chiyomen leaders but hasn’t shared any other details.

...anyone else still waiting?
It's over a month later, but based on comments on the KS page several US backers including me are still waiting and haven't heard anything. I had actually completely forgotten and was reminded late last week that these were shipping back in July.

I'm not too worried about it, but I'm hoping we get a status update at some point this month just to be sure nothing went wrong.
Update: See below. It arrived the final week of September.

I'll drop Adam a message for you man to double check!

did anyone receive the singed edition yet?
still waiting for mine. (US)
Mine that arrived last week (US) was the signed tier, although there were no signatures anywhere to be found on the disc, case or inserts. I don't care though. I watched it on Sunday and was pleased with the improvements they made after the draft that they screened a while back. It really came together nicely, and they remembered the "Making of" bonus feature that was promised as a stretch goal. There were only 2 mistakes in the film that I noticed, two instances of subtitles WIth THe first two letters of words capitalized.

I don't think remember if the poster was signed or not, I don't think it was because I probably would have laminated it. It was just printed on regular printer paper and got kind of crumpled up in the post so I didn't make any attempt to fix it and it has moved on.

Still haven't received mine. It's the regular version, unsigned.
