I'm in my thirties now. My muscle memory is still there. It's still as easy to pick up a game as it was when I was a kid.
The one thing I've found isn't as strong anymore are my reflexes. Fighting games in particular. I've been playing a lot of Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 11 lately and I find my reflexes sometimes aren't what they used to be. I have trouble punishing stuff now just because I miss my window. As a kid, it wasn't that big a deal. I could get those timings down but as an adult I find there is a bit of delay. Whether that delay is on my behalf or the TV's behalf I'm still not sure.
But for the most part, I don't feel like my habits have changed all that much from when I was a kid.
