Can someone teach me how to use Shenmue save converter (redream emulator)?

I've completed Shenmue 1 on redream, so I started up Shenmue 2 PAL and it doesn't import my saved file. Then I came across this site for the problem/solution http://dcevolution.sourceforge.net/index.php?id=shenmue_save_converter

So I'm not that much of an expert at this, can anyone please help me?

I used this just the other day on an actual Dreamcast, I know Redream but have never used this application on it.
What OS are you using, Windows or Android?

Redream supports codebreaker codes. Just use the code, don't convert your save file.
