So with the announcement of Intel Extreme Masters choosing Chicago as its new home through 2020 (I'm from Chicago), I decided to throw up a post for CS. I've played this game since ~2001 though I never got into Source.
Most of you might not know but Shenmue Dojo had an actual Counter-Strike clan for sometime. We were called Team Toy Capsules and were mostly made up of a handful of Dojo members from I'd say the 2003-2005`ish timeframe. We weren't really any good but we had a lot of fun. We had a website, dedicated server, mIRC channel, Ventrillo server; the works.
I still play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive almost religiously. Not on a team but I only play competitive matchmaking for the thrill of 5v5 scrims. I don't think I will ever get sick of this game even though it has always been a love\hate relationship.
Anyone else on the boards dabble in CS? Add me on Steam if you do or even if you don't, would love to game with other Shenmue fans.
