I'm in the midst of debating an upgrade to the graphics card in my gaming PC.

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700
16GB RAM
M.2 500gb SSD
1TB HDD
AMD Radeon 580 8GB GPU The power supply on this rig is currently 500w.

I was wondering as the recommended PSU for the RTX 2060 super is 550, but draw is 175w whether I could run this without changing out the power supply? If needs be I'll change to a bigger wattage power supply.

Same applies to the 2070.

Any advice?

Your power supply might scrape a 2070 but you would be better off with 600-700w PSU.

As for the rest, i am not sure about Ryzen (Intel guy) , but the rest looks ok.

According to tomshardware the 2060 super actually pulled more power at peak than Nvidia specified (topped out at ~180w - https://www.tomshardware.com/review...2060-super-geforce-rtx-2070-super,6207-5.html).
Your CPU seems to be around the 107w mark at peak as well (https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-7-270…view,5571-12.html).

I think you'd be fine with the Super but would would upgrade to 650 as Peter said for the 2070. Here's a thread on LTT, where someone had a very similar question and spec. Deffo worth reading:

Cheers both of you. Looks like a little upgrade to the PSU is in order. Would rather do it correctly than scrimp on it and then it causes more issues down the line.

The current GPU runs fine so it's no rush to do anything as yet.

Hey guys I'm looking at a gaming laptop with a 1660ti gpu. Is this good enough for Shenmue 3? Do you think it could hit 60fps 1080p? Did you guys have any issues with demo?
