Has anyone defeated Jianmin?

I'm busy trying to waste a month of in game time so I can complete the Fangmei birthday side quest and like a good student I've been grinding my training with Jianmin. I've noticed that doing the Twin Swallow leap, I've been catching him a lot and got him down to four energy orbs. Took a photo on my last attempt. Has any one managed to get him down to zero? I assume it's not possible but thought I'd enquire.

For the avoidance of doubt, I would add that this is the Steam version with no hacks/cheats/add-ons.

You can actually one-hit kill him if you acquire the gun.

I think you'd really need cheats to have enough time/damage to get him. And even then I'd say the session will just end when Jianmin is at zero.

Yes but you have to beat Xiuying first, and she'll give you a move to defeat him.

Beating Xiuying is out of the question, she's like the female version of Lan Di.

I've got him down to 1 bar with the cyclone kick but I'm pretty sure it ends before you can defeat him.

I've only ever managed to hit him once or twice in a battle, but I've never gone out of my way to try and beat him. Don't know if it is possible.
