what can you handle? if not, how do you think you'll fare?

Nothing high pitch for me. I'll sound like nails on a chalk board.

I know for a fact that I can carry a tune; I sound in-tune, my pitch is good and I am able to emulate quite well, how any singer I listen to, sings (after repeated listenings, of course).

But I have a terrible singing voice; yes its powerful, yes I can be heard audibly, but I just don't have a voice conducive to singing; it's low, monotone-ish and I guess I've never just belted it out.

My sister, for example, has a much more-pleasant voice to the ears and is more-pleasant to listen to, but she can't hold a tune if her life depended on it.

For Karaoke in my life, I have sung Freak on a Leash by Korn (Hit all the notes, but my voice sounded poor) and Pinball Wizard, by the Who (would've picked any other Who song TBH, but this was all that was available). Same thing, I sang every note superbly like Daltrey does (and with correct lyrics; the Karaoke program had them wrong), but it doesn't sound great.

It's hard to explain lol.

When I worked for Korean Air, my coworkers and bosses would force me to do karaoke with them every time we had company dinners. I hated it.

Then a friend of mine wanted me to sing a parody of that I’ll Make a Man Out of You song from Mulan, so this happened:

There is a good singing quality in me, my friends tell me that's why I feel so confident whenever I am singing. I am always singing on the karaoke system reviews when we go to a karaoke night at a club. I enjoy it a lot.
