Is the timing of the QTE's broken?

On Normal the timing windows should be twice as long, in my opinion. QTEs should not be hard to pull off on Easy/Normal difficulties. They're supposed to make you feel like a badass, not a bumbling idiot. The only upside is they put a lot of effort into the failed states and some of them are worth seeing at least once.

I have no problem with them being hard on higher difficulties.

Also, despite no branching paths, the instant restart is a vast improvement over previous games. Not having to wait for a loading screen, or -- even worse -- redo an entire section before you reach the QTE you failed on, is a huge improvement.
