Kickstarter Rewards on PS5 help

I wanted to play Shenmue III on my PS5 and was wondering if you can re-download the kickstarter rewards? I previously entered the playstation redeem code on my ps4 so I can't reenter it again on my ps5, but when entering my backer in-game code it says that I haven't entered the playstation code.

I also tried transferring my saves through the cloud and it says that the save file cannot be used because I need to download the DLC data first... I'm guessing this is the playstation redemption code?

Does anybody have any ideas? or know if you can actually redownload the backer rewards?

Here is my post from what I first tried with instructions-

I tried loading saves multiples time but told I needed to install DLC before loading previous saves, so I went into PS store and redownloaded all 3 DLC. Yet it still wouldn’t work. You have to go back to title card, click options to download all the Kickstarter perks and then my save finally worked.
