Awesome. I had to get a new 6 button pad last year as my old trusty one I have had for years just randomly started only being recognised as a 3 button pad one day. Not sure why, I opened it up and gave it a good clean, couldn't see any issues with the contacts for the mode button, but it still wouldn't work. Fortunately a shop close to me had one in stock, so I just went out and bought a new one.



I hadn't heard of the manga or anime. I might check them out some time. I am looking forward to playing the game though, it looks amazing. I hope I receive it soon.

My old one was purchased with a broken mode button, so I didn't even know you could switch! :LOL:

The anime was released in Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, Korean and Italian... all without subs :( If not for the fact I speak and understand Italian, never would've been able to watch it.

It is a bit kiddish (of course), but the humour is just awesome and they got a lot of things spot on from the game.

They just don't cover ANY of the teams, outside of the first 4 (Tommy Dexter (Dan's Team), Taylor's {don't know his name in Japanese. he's the main rival} team, the team with the purple-haird captain and the big, scary-looking vice-captain and Ara Saki, which is Ricky/Rikou's team) and the game has a lot of plot with the different countries and the like.

Haha no way? You need the mode button for a few games haha. It's how I eventually found out what it was for. Only after googling about a random game not working I found out that some games glitch out with a 6 button pad, but holding the mode button forces it to act as a 3 button pad.

Sadly, I might not even be getting the game after all, looks like it's lost in the postal system. Maybe I am just pessimistic. It's been a week since I bought it and the tracking for the courier claims they haven't even received it. Seller assures me it was posted, so who knows? Either they're lying or the courier have sat on it for nearly a week or they lost it.

It is Evri (used to be Hermes)... Do you have them in Canada? They're the most useless courier ever haha.

It's a shame the anime has no subs. I don't know any other languages haha. Aren't there even fan subs?
 
With all due respect, the forum really isn't all that busy. I really don't see what harm it does to allow discussion to be a bit more free flowing and organic, than merely people rigidly doing nothing more than listing their 15 favourite games and no discussion being sparked from that.

The conversation directly relates to a game that Truck had placed in his top 15 games of all time, which was based on an anime and manga series.

"Cluttering up" a topic isn't really something that actually happens. It's not like suddenly the thread is unreadable or people can't contribute. People are more than welcome to continue listing their favourite games of all time.

That said, fine. We can move on.
