Liu Jang shrine wheel repository

There's another wheel repository in the back of the shrine and the mysterious pieces of paper seem to be the clue to solving it. I used trial and error because I didn't know what to do but I couldn't work it out. Has anyone done it?

I didn’t realize you could actually interact with it. There are only a set number of combinations, so it’s only a matter of time before somebody solves it.

Can you remember the combination? How did you work it out? I had two slips of paper but I couldn't see anything on them.

I worked it out with trial and error and a pinch of luck, the combination is:

the intructions refer to push right or left and the missing peice is referencing to being the opposite of the parallel intact part. So on one side if it says right, the other side is left. You start from the arrow going down.
