Marvel’s Avengers

I'm interested but I tend to stay away from "games as service" for the most part, so I'll wait to see if there's going to be a feeling of FOMO if I only want to play for 30 hours or so. I kind of wish they made the designs of The Avengers more distinct from the movies because it makes the characters look like cheap imitations.

I played the beta this weekend and I thought it was meh.

Missions seem ok and the story could be good but I dunno it could get quite repetitive.
 
Another game only making the beta (demo) available to those you pre-ordered. Maybe in this case that are doing it because if the demo was free, it would put off more people than it attracts.

I've not played it since last weekend and TBH I'm unlikely to. It's solid enough but I'm not fussed about it.
 
Playing the beta now. It’s about as annoying and shallow as the movies. Made even worse because the characters look and act like knock-offs.
 
Played it for about an hour today on Steam. Wasn't feeling it. Refunded it.
