One the big day I intend to listen to the Data-Disc Vinyl for the first time, I bought it at launch but have been holding back for the occassion! :)

A million apologies if this has come up before, I've scanned the threads and not seen it mentioned.

This isn't spoilery, is it? But is the retail build that people have their hands on any different graphically to the backer trial? Or will all the updates come in patch 1? Those scree shots of Ryo in the warehouse and Casino seemed to show better models.

Hi, I saw when someone was installing their early copy they downloaded a Patch called 1.02 - Not sure if that helps but I'm trying to not look into it any more.

On a down note, I dont think my bestbuy preorder went through. Even tho i have a receipt for the game, with the steel book case.
In the past Bestbuy cancelled my preorder. It had something to do with paypal.... i dont want to miss out on that hardcore steel.

That's what I was told. The earliest they can give me my copy is 9 p.m. EST.
 
Less than a week bros! Still surreal thinking that when I'm done with my current playthrough of Shenmue 2 I'll actually get to keep going this time. There's some special good happy energy in the air that I'm sure we're all feeling knowing that we're this close to getting a payoff on an almost 20 year buildup. Why can't Shenmue 3 come out every week? feelsgoodman.jpg
 
So exciting! Last night I reached Guilin on my Shenmue II Playthrough, which I am now going to leave until Sunday - Kinda hoping I get the game 1 day early on Monday :p But the Climax to Kowloon has me so ready, the Stare Down with Lan Di, the conversations with Yuanda Zhu, all the questions pushed to the foreground and now finally reaching the place which should give a lot of answers!

I still need to get the Arm Wrestling Trophy, so in the meantime I might load up an older save and try that get that :)
