I read this article below on the old forum from 2004 with a fairly reasonable prediction given by the OP. Given the events of Shenmue 3 does anyone believe this is still a possible truth?

It’s certainly possible, but I’m still going with ZSM’s wife being Shenhua’s mother and Iwao being the father.

Well, she is 16...I don't think so. Zhao was killed about 20 years ago, as Silas said in that thread.

But she is 16 and Ryo is 18. Ryo was born after Iwao came back to Japan from China, so if that is to be true, Shenhua would need to be older than Ryo.
