Random Gaming Thoughts

This weekend i finally found my own Dream-On GD-Collection with Demos, Videos, etc.. Is there a official way to convert the discs into an cdi-image to use it with an emulator?

Such a shame it got leaked. The bait and switch would have been so much more amazing had it not leaked beforehand.

Oh well, April! Not too far away....remember when people wanted Shenmue III to be delayed to the first quarter of 2020? Yeah, would have gotten eaten alive with what is coming out early next year.

Im in for HD Nemesis. Can't believe its coming out so soon, hopefully it'll be another Capcom classic, RE2 and DMC5 were amazing this year.

Cool! Patience is a virtue. Much like having Yakuza 6 and 0 to play back to back, I'll have RE2make and RE3make to enjoy consecutive, too. Time for another REsaturn-RE2dc-RE3dc trilogy, then begin RE0-REmakes1/2/3-RECVX-RE4 play order afterward.

I was just playing Sonic Mania and just realised that when Sonic runs, he has both arms clenched and at his side. I always, for decades, thought he had his hands held together and to the side. Almost like someone holding a baseball or Ryu/Ken starting a fireball.

Currently playing my second play through of persons 5, dabbing in Death stranding, and slowly messing around the beginning of shenmue III.

What is left on everyone's to complete list? After Shenmue III, I have Yakuza 0 to finish which I have no played in ages. As it's in Japanese, it requires that little more attention because of the subtitles and I just haven't had the time to play it. I also have Erica which I downloaded on a whim. Overcooked 2 as well but in no rush with that.

I have a bunch of Saturn games I need to get to, but can't until I get a CRT.

I figure when I finish 'mue III, I'll write the review (to go on Gfaqs), then either write a few more and get on to Ryu ga Gotoku 7 or just chill until 7 hits.

I have quite a few Japanese Saturn titles that have great guides, specifically and I'll definitely get to them next year :D

My goal has always been to write a review on every game in my collection, on Gfaqs and I'm well more than halfway there! :D

What is your game collection?

Full amount or just in general?

For the detailed stuff; do note, I don't write or report anything on non-Sega titles (so my MINIMAL Ninty collection, will never be written about :D)

In general, I have 300+ titles on the DC, Genesis, Saturn, SMS, Sega CD, GG, 32X and SG-1000 (in order of most games to least).

Once I get a CRT, all of the old stuff is getting hooked up and I can play again (and write some more!).

Actually, taking a quick glance at my backloggery, I haven't added my new stuff, so I think I may be around 400 Sega console titles now ;)

As mentioned in the other thread, I'll take a pic of my gaming area as soon as I get a couple more things and the CRT :)

Ah the CRT. I've been phasing mine out this year because I wanted to get everything working on my HDTV, mainly for ease of use and comfort. My favourite purchase of the year (and maybe decade) is my OSSC which is the closest thing to a CRT like quality on a HDTV. Granted the CRT still has it beat, but its to such a negligable point for me that I'm good using everything on my big TV now, especially as my CRT is dying.

Backlog wise I have way too much. I've been hammering away at Death Stranding chapter 3 for two days now and am still on it, the allure of deliveries and traversal are more than the story but I'm slowly getting there! I've also got both Control and Sekiro to get to (both getting quite a few GOTY nods, so I really must get to them) and MHW Iceborne (to be fair, my reason for not playing that one is because I won't touch anything else once I start!).

Hoping to get at least Death Stranding done this month so I can be ready for Yakuza 7 next month.

Yeah, if I wasn't such a huge Lightgun fan, I wouldn't bother, but Virtua Cop (1&2), HoD2 are just so important to me gaming-wise (lol) and I plan to pick up HoD next year as well, so I really want that CRT (it would help if all the HoD2s in arcades here in Southern Ontario had guns that aimed straight, but none of them do :().

That and the games look so clean on a nice CRT, I need it badly! lol

Confidential Mission is great fun, too.

I stupidly sold it (for $30.00 American, at least) in 2005, when I got my Dreamcast from my next door neighbor (wasn't huge on Lightguns at the time). Then I finally got the Virtua Gun and that was the end of that for not playing Lightgun games! lol

And of course, Confidential Mission is stupid expensive now, compared to how it used to be :(
