If thou continue to log into Facebook, Facebook will also log into thee.
I thought that was Twitter? ;) Twitter always struck as being the “gaze into the abyss...” thing.

Ah, who am I kidding? Social media is a black hole in general

I deleted my Twitter account back in 2015 and my Facebook account back in 2018. Don't miss either in the very least.

ive never had a facebook account ( i have zero interest in reconnecting with people from the past) and i sometimes look at twitter but i lost in it once i found out a lot of accounts by famous people i respect are either "fake" (created and updated by their PR team) or they don't bother readping their comments.. anyway the amount of people who have lost their jobs for voicing their opinions or saying stupid shit, it's not worth being on social media.

I've heard stories of people being turned down for jobs because they didn't have any social media, meaning employers were deprived of the ability to delve into the lives of the interviewees or keep tabs on them at all times should they be hired. Shit's fucked up, man.

I hate the thing. Spent a lot of this morning trying to log in and nothing. Going to create a new Apple ID and see if that works. The dumb thing is also style over substance. One USB C port and nothing else. Was hoping to hook this straight up to my keyboard and monitor as my home computer is old and past it but have to get additional dongles and cables ordered in. No HDMI and standard USB port.
Oof, the plain Macbook. USB-C only needs a simple sub $10 dongle to use USB-A(or a dual ended cable going from C to A), although a dock are pretty much required for those goofy minimalist Macbooks. Your new job.... should provide a dock if they're going the cheap route of providing Macbooks rather than Airs or 13in Pros.....

Love Apple, but the 2016-2018 Macbooks were one of their odd ones. Air have become powerful enough since ~2012 to make the standard Macbooks unnecessary, they don't fit anywhere in the portfolio. Hence, they only use them for random runs to debut new stuff at very minimum feature set, even less than Air which already only ever have dual core and never more than one or two USB and one thunderbolt. The 2016-2018 run were used to debut USB-C into Macs, now the next in 2021/22 will be the debut of Apple silicon, if I'm not mistaken.

Still getting used to the damn thing but don't see how this is any better than Windows. For my work place, they use Google for everything (email, Docs etc.) so I'm not sure why choose a seemingly more expensive MAC over a Dell laptop

what does people here think of the subject of the roswell crash and bob lazar's claims?

Another Mac rant. Why is it that certain windows can't be moved to a second screen? They just seem to get stuck and I can't move it across. I know I've been using Windows for decades and need to get used to MacOs but a lot of things are inexcusably complex and unintuitive.

sean connery has died aged 90. he passed away in his sleep at his home in the Bahamas.

one of the greats. there is still tones of films with him in, that i havent seen.

Who here owns/wears a set of pyjamas? I just go to sleep in my underwear and whatever top I happen to be wearing.
Though I sleep as you described in hot weather, I invested in a pair about a decade ago and never looked back. They're great for winter nights and lazy mornings/weekends when you can stay in and merely have to tend to domestic matters.
So long as you never become a monster who wears them in public, I encourage getting some.

I've had pajamas since I was a baby and have never NOT worn them lol.

If it's too hot, I strip down just to my boxers, but unless people are over/doing housework outside, I am in my pajamas 24/7.

For comfort, flexibility and convenience, nothing can beat them (and I love Flannel Pajamas :D)
