Absolutely will as well.

I've seen the 3 films over 2 dozen times (the first, probably close to 50 times) and am REALLY well-versed in the characters, plot and lore, so this is a no-brainer.

For the first time ever, more than 1 film I wish to see, will be out around Christmas lol

have you ever seen the animatrix? i saw the dvd in the early 2000s, very powerful. the plot of how the machines were created, the human vs robot war + how they turned humans into batteries. stuck in my mind for a long time. definitely worthy of a movie or tv treatment after matrix4 imo.

i think you can see it on youtube

One of my life goals is to visit Japan before I die. Not only do I want to visit obvious spots like Yokosuka, Akihabara, etc, I also want to visit places like the Iga and Koga mountains, Mount Fuji, and various Shinto shrines along the way. I want to take up a few Kendo classes, learn a bit of calligraphy, visit actual hot springs in the mountains, go to a festival (like the Bon Festival), and do so much more.

I would be in heaven if I could simply sit under a cherry tree eating a warm meat bun and sipping my green tea while wearing a kimono and reading haiku. Feeling the gentle wind caress my face while listening to some shakuhachi flutes, a shamisen guitar, or the simple flow of the water.

It is the simplest things in life that make it so interesting.

I mentioned in the movie thread, that I haven't seen the Animatrix, yet have read so much material and trivia, etc. on it, I know it like the back of my hand lol (IE: I indeed know about the machines and how they came to prominence, the Kid, etc.).

I may just finally watch it, especially if it's on YT.

Was so beautiful the way you described everything, i even imagined everything, i want to do all this things you said.

I have the same dream about visit Japan so i can have all this unique/beautiful experiences and moments.I even know the basics of japanese language, i know hiragana, katakana and a few kanji, i know how to communicate some things in japanese but i need to study more, i need to learn more kanji.

Japanese shrines, temples, castles, torii and much more are some things in Japan that always fascinated me and is so peaceful.

I agree, it is the simplest things in life that make it so interesting, this is one of the reasons why i like Shenmue III, because it have this simple, peaceful and sweet moments, to me Shenmue III is a peaceful time in Ryo's Journey and Shenmue IV if happens i think will be intense and will progress a lot in the story.

Being able to experience a calm and peaceful life in Bailu Village, the night conversations with Shenhua, training in Bailu Village and much more was unique and special to me, it is one of the the good things about the game in my opinion.

I think if i visit Japan it will be a experience that i will never forget. I hope one day we can realize this dream about visit Japan.

i saw the aftermath of a hit and run crash tonight. looked like a girl on a electric scooter got hit by a car, she was laying in the road with people trying to help her. :censored: hopefully she will be ok.

if these scooters become legal in the uk and i had the money, i would defiantly consider buying one.. but there would be no way i would use one without lights and a helmet, especially at night.

the movie is broken up into mini stories but this shows the downfall of man and the rise of the matrix

I think this is an accurate depiction of social media.

I lost count on how many times i saw people arguing with each other on social media, people trying to prove that their opinions are better, people start to cursing each other, the trolls and much more.

Remember when I said I didn't wanted to talk in depth about
censorship in games and other medium because i want peace in my life? it is exactly because of this things that happen in social media.

I'm not against social media but nowadays i prefer not to go in too much. This days i prefer to be more at Discord, YouTube, Spotify, Steam, PSN and here at Shenmue Dojo, I feel that the Dojo is a calm place on the internet, people here are more respectful, i enjoy entering here.

I want to say thanks again to the staff here of the Dojo, the Dojo is a calm and peaceful place to stay on the internet, thank you so much.

I can empathize with you as I have minimized my presence on Social Media as much as possible. One of the reasons being that people can destroy your life online. I have seen individuals fallen from grace merely for a comment they may have made a decade ago.

In either case, you are always welcome here @Hiki and are just as part of the Shenmue family as the rest of us. We may have our differences, but we are all united in our love of this wonderful franchise.

Shenmue III is the perfect example for this. I like Shenmue III but you don't like Shenmue III that much and that's okay, i respect your opinion, we are respectful with each other, this is important.

I really feel welcomed here, i'm really glad to be part of the Shenmue family, thank you.

Quit my job. I had an offer from another place but initially decided to stay put as it just made sense in terms of travel and picking up the kids from school. I also was performing well despite hating the place.

However, I decided to leave after the micromanagement got too much. Everything from how many calls made, time on the phone, emails sent and meetings booked were all scrutinised closely. What pissed me off about it is none of these actually correlate to our sales target. I was getting a telling off about my talk time despite have more sales than the entire team (there are 6 of us).

This new job pays £6k more but it's only a year contract and will cost more to travel. The fact that I'm still leaving just shows how bad where I am is.

freak accident on the set of a upcoming netflix movie.

Alec Baldwin shot and killed a cinematographer and wounded the director. squib load? gun exploded?

Exactly 2 years ago i created my account here on Shenmue Dojo, the Dojo is one of the few places on the internet that i really feel welcomed, the Dojo is a calm and peaceful place where we can talk about a lot of things and i love entering here.

I would like to say thanks again for everything you all do for this community, i'm really glad to be part of the Shenmue community, the Shenmue community is a wonderful and amazing community, thanks everyone.

I need to get something off my chest.

It takes a lot for me to lose my cool. Besides the obvious examples of mistreatment of animals, children, the disabled, and the elderly, one of the things that boils my blood is rudeness. I despise rudeness. Specifically, I am fucking sick and tired of the lack of manners and gratitude among youngsters nowadays. This is a sentiment I have held for over a decade, around the time I became an adult, but only in the past month or so has it gone from a simple sentiment to an expectation for which I hold very little hope for the paradigm to ever turn around.

The three most recent examples:-

1. Two weeks ago, I was heading back home after doing some shopping. On my way down the alleyway, I noticed a boy and a girl of about thirteen heading in my direction. They were taking up more space, but whatever; I felt the right thing to do was back up against the fence to allow them to pass, which I did. Did they thank me? Did they give a little nod? A wave? A thumbs up? Did they balls. Nothing
2. Last week, on my way to the park with my dog, I was approaching the bridge that leads to the road the park is on. During my approach, I noticed a young woman of about twenty halfway down the bridge, heading in our direction. It's quite a narrow bridge, albeit a long one, so I decided to stand to the side of the opening to allow her to pass as easily as possible, which she saw me do. Twenty seconds later, she stepped off the bridge without so much as acknowledging my presence and carried on, with such a look of indifference on her face. "Right, I'll let that one slide this time," I thought to myself
3. Yesterday evening, I was on my way back from the park with my dog. We exited the park, crossed the road, and headed in the direction of home. About five seconds after crossing the road, who turned the corner and started heading in our direction? The same woman from #2. "Hmm," I thought to myself. As we got closer and closer, I realised there was gonna be a bit of a kerfuffle due to the massive tree on the approach between us, so I stepped into a driveway and gave her the signal to head past me. Again, she just walked past without so much as a nod, but she had that exact same facial expression as before

The entitlement. The arrogance. The lack of self-awareness. The lack of gratitude. The rudeness.

Is it so fucking hard to take the not-even-a-second to say "thank you"? To nod? To give a wave or thumbs up? Good manners are the bedrock of human decency, in my book; without them, I automatically lose respect for the respective person on the spot. "Thank you"; "Yes, please"; "No thank you"; and so on - things we learned as children - is it really so difficult?!

If a person cannot show even a shred of gratitude for a courtesy, then where else are they fucking up in their lives? I despair for them, I really do. The fact the two most recently examples involve the same person is really bugging me. I am considering just walking straight on, acting as if she doesn't even exist, in the middle of the pavement the next time I see her. But then what does that make me? Would it slap her in the face with a bit of reality or will I become the very thing I despise? Urgh.

Or am I just taking this way too seriously?
