clearly it didn't happen but...apparently around the time the war in ukraine first started, there was someone on the news who stated, that in russian culture there is a lot of importance put on symbolic dates and there was a theory put forward that putin wanted to take the whole of ukraine, so he could declare victory on his 70th birthday.. for historical reasons.

no idea if that's true though.

sort of, we sometimes knock up a sauce using -

garlic, tomato ketchup, light soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey and Worcestershire sauce.

i should really learn how to make some proper bbq mixes.

just a heads up, there is a new paypal scam which uses a real paypal money request email to try and fool and steal from you. - basically they add a note inside the paypal request to get you to contact the scammers and hand over your details or send money.

Derbyshire Police:

We have been informed of a fake payment request scam being sent through PayPal.

The emails, which do come from PayPal, exploit a feature where you can request money from other users through the website.

These requests have the option to add a note, which scammers are using to create a message to pressure the recipient into sending an amount for money for a completely random service.

Fraud Protect Officer Tammy Barnes warned, “If you check the details of who these emails have been sent from, it will appear as the official PayPal address as the emails are sent by the system.

“If you’re not expecting a request for payment, we would advise ignoring these emails and if you think the email may be genuine you should always verify the request via a trusted contact method before making payment.

“This is also a timely reminder to make sure your online accounts are secure by using unique, strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication ahead of the busy online shopping season.”

god knows we're i got it, but i ended up getting covid.

sore throat followed by fever / migraine symptoms and a upset stomach. (on my 5th day) i'm starting to feel better but i'm not doing bad considering i was never vaccinated.
