Random Thoughts

A bit frustraited at the FF7 Rebirth soundtrack. Love the music, but not willing to pay $70 for an absured collection of 175 songs across 7-8 discs. There's like... a dozen songs in the game I really liked. Went to Amazon to piece meal it at a buck each, and they don't even allow you to listen to the tracks without purchase... let alone purchase individual songs. So that sucks. Cheapest I can go is $45 for the entire digital group of 175 songs... but I'm still wasting about $30 on the 160 songs I wouldn't bother listening too more than once.

Very annoying.

Marvin Jordan: A story of overcoming.

When Marvin Jordan walked into the Chrysler Building, he had no idea what was going to happen to him that day.

He was late as he was almost every day, if not every day.
Oblivious, he took the elevator to the 36th floor where he worked. Marvin was a loss adjuster for the insurance agency Love Unlimited Insurance. A loss adjuster who was a very good at loss adjusting.

The office was empty. Marvin walked down the hallway, oblivious.
Suddenly he heard an abnormal noise (which was not normal). Frightened, he quickened his pace.

He watched in horror as thieves ransacked the deputy director's office. He hid behind a closet, waited for the thieves to finish their work and went home, oblivious.

And he told himself that he would never come to work so late again, just in case there were thieves.

Miles Gaye: a story of human achievement.
When Miles Gaye entered the Chrysler Building, never in a million years would he have guessed what would happen to him that day.

He walked through the basement oblivious to the presence of other people wandering around in that part of the building.
He approached the elevator - that's for sure - with haste.

He worked on the 6th floor, in a consulting firm called "Lane Assesors" that advised "Love Unlimited Insurance".
Miles was an advisor.

He remembered going up to the office, Dr. Munchen's recommendation:
"Miles, you should walk more! Or at least walk up the stairs every day to your consulting job!"
Miles was, by the way, very good at giving advice.

As he stepped out of the elevator, oblivious, he encountered a devilish brawl between his colleagues at "Lane Assesor" and the employees of "Keynes Subject" - a rival consultancy.

Without a second thought, he pressed the elevator button with two arrows facing each other and went down to the basement.
He waited there a few minutes - very nice minutes - and told himself that he would never take the elevator again.

Lola Baltimore: a story of human and exemplary overcoming.

When Lola Baltimore permeated the Chrysler Building, she didn't for the life of her knew what was going to happen to her that day.

She coughed. She was coughing hard. It was a dry cough. No expectoration.
"I don't expectorate..." she thought.
Since she had left home, the cough - that dry cough - was accompanying her .

She liked to live lightly clothed. By the time she noticed the few clothes she usually wore, it was already late and the chill was taking hold of her.
That Tuesday in December it was very cold: 27° F. And although 27° seems like a good temperature, Fahrenheit degrees can be very deceiving.

When she entered the executive elevator and sneezed at the top of her lungs, she cursed herself for her bad habit.
Earlier that day he only covered his body with a sweater. "That's not much..." she thought.
Lola was a director of the Luck All Company. An import-export of products that belonged to the "Love Unlimited Insurance". She was very good at directing.

When she sat down in the armchair, a shiver ran through her body, this one not caused by the temperature. Her assistant, Ray Lemonade, was destroying the mainframe like vermin. "This is serious. Its 1952, there's no such thing as cloud storage yet." she thought.
But Lola pretended to be absent-minded, oblivious, as if it was nothing to do with her. It was not for nothing that Ray was the godfather of her eldest daughter.

And she told herself that from that day on she would wear a coat.

People with phlegm in their throat, who keep talking like nothing happens while rejecting the notion of clearing up thus creating a visual of the mucus vibrating. We all know someone like that. Why. For godsake. Why.

This is one triggers my misophonia something rotten. I'm quite an agreeable person temperamentally, for better or worse, but I have had to ask people to please clear their throat when this has happened during conversation. On far more occasions than necessary. You'd think people would be a little more self-aware, but I guess not. I don't like having to request this of them, but it's either that or putting up with it, rage and disgust building, until I snap and raise my voice, and it's me who ends up being the one in the wrong. Makes me feel physically sick hearing that fucking sound.

Moving to Guangzhou last week of August, i have accepted a job at a school there and looking forward to getting back into teaching. Im going to get a place with gf as we are getting back together and will be looking to do a PGCE/QTS so i can open more doors teaching wise.
