I would say only buy Death Stranding if you are either into story heavy games, or enjoy really tedious and mundane gameplay...kind of weird coming from a Shenmue fan but honestly I feel like DS just amplifies the worst parts of it, to where you still got a lot of story but there’s just not much in the middle which can be near 50 hours of uninteresting fluff, and that’s without doing much side content. And the quality of the story itself is pretty subjective...not as unanimously disliked as mgsv but I’d say at least 50/50

RE3 Remake. I was going to hold off as I have two fresh storylines to get through on Black Desert but I loved the RE2 remake so much I couldn't help myself.

I got Resident Evil 3 this week, boosting that PS4 Collection stack to new heights! The game was so-so, I think it shows less imagination in comparison to the previous remake - Which is a shame as the original RES Nemesis is my favourite of the series!

Yep No way I was going to pass on this. Honestly I was not sure what to expect, I had no hype for the release but was sure I would enjoy it. Boy have I!!! It's been a true delight and I feel S-E have really done the original justice.

I also got Persona 5 Royal - I struggled with P5 originally, having played P3 and enjoying it but felt it was VERY long winded, I got a similar impression of P5 and stopped playing it. Hoping to go back to it with this release now.

Just got it. Wont play it for a while tho.
And its likely the last game ill buy for quite a while.

Picked up Dead Rising on PS4 for $4.99. I had a 360, but only used a standard def TV, so reading the menus was impossible.

This has delicious replay value, esp. for the price; I'm surprised by how quickly the three days go by, though.

I think I played this through other means many years ago but never got far. Think I got through about half of the original version on the Wii? Either way, I’ve decided the remake of 7 is not for me, but it reminded me of this one.

I went a little nuts on the PSN Easter Sale that is ongoing.

-- WWE 2K20 -- For a mere $20 I figured "what the hell?"...I wish I had kept the $20...still a mess of a game. People can rag on Yukes all they want, but at least Yukes could deliver a somewhat halfway decent game. This feels like a rushed mess.

-- A Plague Tale: Innocence -- Been curious about this for a while. Finally nabbed it at a good price.

-- Patapon Remastered -- One of my favourite PSP games...finally got around to nabbing the HD port.

-- Batman: Return to Arkham Collection -- One day I will return to Arkham. Will make good gaming during quarantine.

Also grabbed some stuff from PlayAsia before Birthday.

--- Final Fantasy VII Remake Limited Edition Vinyl Collection
-- Pre ordered the new Tifa Play Arts Kai Figure

AER (discovered through State of Mind), PSN Ico+Colossus HD individual downloads and The First Tree.

Birthday gifts from myself to me :)

I noticed Play Asia still had special editions of Persona 5 Royal and could not resist. Also nabbed the Final Fantasy 8 soundtrack on Blu Ray. God, I’m a sucker for that soundtrack and game. Have it on vinyl, CD and now the Blu Ray version

Birthday pickups (orders waiting to arrive)...partially birthday money covered the bulk of the monitor and everything else was just my own money spent.

-- New Monitor for PC. I went with a 27 inch AOC at 144hz. Since I'm now working from home I had to rearrange my gaming area a bit and I made room to put back in a monitor and desk chair on the side. I had an old 27inch View Sonic that I got with my old PC and it's been serving me well for work for the last few weeks, but I got to admit, I was super curious to do an upgrade and go for a faster monitor to see how my PC fares with higher frame rates. That and the View Sonic is showing its age so it felt like time to upgrade. Also having a dedicated desk area again is kinda wonderful. Kind of helps for productivity over working on the laptop. Very curious to see some games I have in my Steam Library running at higher frame rates than 60fps.

-- Razer Ornata Chroma Keyboard

-- Razer Deathadder Elite Mouse

-- OSSC Scan Convertor for Retro consoles. Since the Framemeister is no more, I decided to go for the next best thing. Will come in handy for Dreamcast, PS2 among other consoles I have in the house.

Also in the market for an Arcade Stick. Trying to decide between a Razer Panthera EVO stick or Hori with one of their sticks. I figure its time to invest in another arcade stick considering how much Tekken I play on a regular basis.

New monitor arrived today. 144hz gaming sure is something. I played a bit of RE2 Remake and Yakuza 0 at around 100 frames a piece. Damn is that shit buttery.

then I went to Tekken 7 and was shocked to see 60fps now feels stuttery and almost like 30 by comparison. God, I don’t even want to imagine what 30 will look like now when I go back to 30fps.

so I now have my mic, my monitor and web cam. I’m good for work. Should start streaming one of these days now that I have a decent enough mic

I went a little nuts during this recent PSN Easter/Big in Japan sale, but there were some good grabs to be found at bargain prices.

-- White Day: A Labryinth Named School -- I'll check it out for $10. Was mildly curious about it when it came out

-- Valkyria Chronicles -- Somewhere around the $10 mark. Never played this series before but always heard great things

-- Prototype -- Was $7 on the store. I remember this came out around the same time as inFamous and I was always mildly curious, but inFamous had my attention over it at the time.

-- Resident Evil Code Veronica X

-- Danganronpa 1 and 2 Reload

-- Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Collection

-- Onimusha Warlords

-- Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD

-- 428: Shibuya Scramble

-- Ni No Kuni 2: Wrath of the White Witch -- Enjoyed the first game; never got around to the sequel though. Saw it for $29 on the store and figured "what the hell?"

-- Shenmue 1 and 2 HD (it was like $13, is it sad this is the 4th copy I've bought of this remastered set? Twice physical on PS4, one digital on Steam and now one digital on PS4)
