Shenmue AM2 Podcast

Matt and I have pre-recorded our next three episodes. I'm going away for work for about a month. We wanted to make sure we had some episodes for all of you in the meantime though. If there is any huge Shenmue news between now and the middle of September, chances are very slim that we will be able to record an episode about. We really hope that you guys will like the episodes we have coming for you in the next few weeks. Cheers!
 
Been going through episodes at work. I think the first episode I checked out was the Adam Koralik interview, then to hear what you had to say on the Epic deal. Now I've started from Ep 1 and I'm at Ep 43 now.

Good stuff. Also from Canada, btw. Alberta.

Awesome! We love to hear that we have new listeners that love the show. Even better to hear that we have Canadian fans! Our next episode (Episode 61) was a really fun one to make. I got caught up on all episodes earlier this week. The final episodes I had to catch up on were 53 and 54. Everything has been great so far, except episode 53. Or at least the final 12 minutes or so. That was uh... really bad.

I wasn't prepared for a lecture on ethics and morality in this podcast. Alt right, child porn, mass shootings... Yikes. When you start ranting about the alt right on a Shenmue podcast, you know you've gone way off the rails. Keep Matt reeled in, Andrew.

Everything else has been great. I'll probably go ahead and re-listen to some episodes from 55+. Really enjoyed the interviews with Adam Koralik, Corey and Eric Kelso... maybe missing a few others.

I'm replaying Shenmue 2. I don't recall playing competitive darts back when I originally played it, so when I heard you guys mention that, I went and looked for those players in the game, and it has introduced me to one of my now favorite characters in Shenmue 2: Barry Jones, who plays darts in the bar right across from in pigeon park. He makes me smile every time I play against him. His responses when he misses are gems.

There's so much to experience and talk about in these 2 games. Really incredible series.
