So I had an idea, it's obvious Shenmue pulls many of its models from real world products and I thought it may be fun to try and compile things into one thread. Obviously we know things like Jet Cola is Coke, and the Bell Woods Coffee has a similar design to the original Georgia Coffee cans (which I was able to find the new design and try it after 20 years because I always wondered, go figure it tastes like any other canned coffee)
But even in Shenmue 3 there's certain products like at the Music Shop across from the Golden Goose aside from the "Yamada BX-7" synthesizer clearly being a Yamaha BX-7, they also use an LTD or (more likely because of the guitar controls) ESP EC1000 as the basis for the guitar and an LTD/ESP B series bass. Anyone have interest in posting their guesses and screenshots and I can try and keep it organized?
