Increasingly I find the User scores means far more to me than the Critic score, because the User score tends to come from people who would be interested in that product in the first place. The wider gamerscape never "got" Shenmue, so I'm more interested to know if Shenmue fans like Shenmue III, because my appreciation is more likely to be in line with theirs.

I agree.

Of course, if we talk about the people who really are into this, like ppl of this forum, it will be at least 90. But there are a lot of haters and trolls nowadays. This isn't 2001 anymore, sadly.
