I was searching bandcamp this morning (after buying a half dozen Japanese noise albums) when I should come across this Shenmue related synthwave album!
There is a vinyl edition (limited to 200) too. Upon further research, there seem to be quite a few (I know of Ryo X already) - https://bandcamp.com/tag/shenmue?artist=1364378704
