Weird bugs in PC version - missing map and missing buttons in QTE

Hi folks, I have this friend here on Twitch TV playing Shenmue 2 for the first time.


He is using a PS5 controller

the thing is his buttons arent showing on screen during QTE, he missed most of Wong's Chase due to this bug


is there a community fix?

Also the maps he owns dont show on screen

he will have a hard time later on with the more harder QTES so its better he fix it now

This is the fix! Shenmue on PC gets incredibly glitchy and unstable with a PS5 controller for some reason. Doing this basically tricks it into thinking you're using an Xbox controller.

Nice. That way your friend is able to catch the two punks at lai lai eatery (the one featured at the chase QTE) and after the fight get the bronze medal for like $30 paid to the waitress in concept of "making up for the damages".
