This. I would get my hopes up so easily.
 
Most likely Gamescom but it's what we will see is the real question. I think we really need to see gameplay now and there's a good chance of that because of that image in the latest update. As much as me and others enjoyed it, I don't want to see the same trailer again but in it's latest build because that ship has sailed. Really hoping to see new things and especially a new trailer. Imagine seeing a new trailer, hearing Ryo's voice and having all the characters in it like Lan Di, Ren, etc?
 
We still haven't seen anything about baisha. I'd like to see some gameplay or scenes in there and know what's the matter with the great wall we saw in that pic
 
Hard to say. It's a very good question. I think it is time to show something of gameplay to tease the game for the next year. But who knows when it is?
 
I'm not holding my breath on anything... But the sooner the better!

This is true. But plans do change, after all. What Yu Suzuki himself might say today may not be the case next week. But at least the chances are good of a Gamescom appearance, I'd say.
 
I'm hoping for Gamescom. And I don't think the teaser (as they have been so diligent in not calling it a trailer) will be used anymore, even with facial animations. The most recent warehouse fight screenshot we got in the last update looks great, and I think even from what little we see in Ryo's model there, it already looks better than it did in that teaser.

I would hope we don't have to wait for TGS, but who knows. I trust this game will be amazing and very polished for its release, whenever that is.

It should be out on stores by that time. If they don't show gameplay this year there will be a lot of people complaining, and it'd be justified.

I don't expect it in stores until Q4 2019. And You Suzuki hates spoilers, he wants yo surprise fans so any long trailer isn't gonna come til near launch.
 
I'm willing to bet that we'll get at least another screenshot once we achieve the next Area Stretch Goal in the Backer Campaign ($7.5 million).
