Where to pre-order Shenmue 3

You don't like EB? I was quite disappointed Gamestop took over all of them here in the States :/

Ragardless, I vastly prefer my smaller shop in the city, but for corporate store, EB was my favorite.
 
Don't intend to chase after the collector's edition stuff myself, but remarkably excited by how "real" this makes the game feel.

EDIT: And I'm really starting to feel that May folder on Deep Silver's website directory might indeed be for this, if information about a Collector's Edition is about to drop.
 
I backed the game to help make sure it was made and we finally see the next chapter. I didn't back it because I'll get a copy plus extras out of it (although I LOVE that my name will be in the credits).

They could give me nothing in return and I would have still backed it. We are getting Shenmue 3. Thats how I saw it and still do.

And I will still go out to the shop for opening time and purchase my Shenmue 3. It's how it was 20 years ago. It's how it will be on the 27th August. I can't bloody wait guys. I will probably cave the night before and purchase the digital just because I will be like a kid unable to sleep through excitement on Christmas Eve.

They took them over here too, but many locations still bear EB's name.

Twice, TWICE they kicked me out of their store (in 2 different locations as well) and I mean escorted out, because I asked if any Dreamcast stuff was left over (which, in 2005, was possible).

A bunch of my friends didn't believe me so I had one of them do the same and they too, were escorted out.

To this day, aside from sheer elitism and pompousness/arrogance, I can't for the life of me, figure out why they did that.

The first pennies I spent there in my life, were in August to get the HD for PS4. After this thing, I won't give them anything else.

Though I may just return it...

Quite odd, although they were done with Dreamcast by 2003, around here. Totally overdoing it, wtf!

Hearing about limited edition, so glad I'm spacing my preorders out one month at a time. For whatever reason, I didn't assume Deep Silver would do anything collector. Should be able to get LE in my last preorder.

Halo 2 and 3. Greatest online multiplayer games ever.

UK folk should brace themselves for the overpriced Game exclusive edition lol. Then again, the collectors edition is on amazon.it so hopefully it's available to all retailers.

For me, Halo 1 - 3 era was amazing. Multiplayer was good, but I'm more a Halo campaign/story guy. 5 is the worst of the lot for sure. I'm hoping Infinite will be an open world Halo game, on the actual ring itself. Imagine the exploration! But lets go back to 1-3 style mechanics.

To have my 2 favourite franchises side by side in my xbox game library is something at one point I never thought would happen. I do hope Shenmue 3 comes to xbox in the future.

Haha yeah, I said the same thing the other day. GAME often seem to get the exclusives, I guess because they're on their deathbed and it's the only thing they can do to try to stay afloat.

Honestly, I'm a bit annoyed that two techniques and the ingame phone card might be Kickstarter exclusive. I think that really sucks considering the kind of content it is. And I'm saying that as someone who backed the game at the 300 dollars tiers, so the signed collector edition, so I'm still getting that exclusive content. I wouldn't mind if they were offered tro regular buyers for free or even for a small price.
(Although I'm really excited for the techniques).

I didn't have a clue what a technique scroll would be when the Kickstarter took place, I mean ok, if its a move scroll, how many moves are there going to be since the first 2 games only had about 20-30. But now we know this game has over 100, I don't think getting 2 technique scrolls is a major deal.

As for the phone card, if they have put a lot of effort into it, then it will more than likely go to DLC I'd guess. They wouldn't ringfence something like that just for original KS backers alone.

I mean, then again, I'm not even concerned to get the content myself :sneaky:
But yeah, I didn't had a clue either. In fact, I litterally noticed right now we're getting one move scroll and one advanced move scroll. As for the jacket, it'd be amazing if we'd be getting the original Shenmue jacket in Dreamcast low poly glory.

As for the phone card, I really wonder which voice actors they could get on board. It'd suck a bit if they all had a different voice.
