While I really like Ryo and Tom's relationship, I gotta go with Goro on account of his redemption arc.

It's impossible to pick, so i'm going to amalgamate them to either Toro or Gom.

(If I were to be forced, i'd probably say Tom on grounds that he is one of the first characters you meet. Goro is more funny, but he comes into the game fairly late).

I never liked how Tom is just the hot dog truck guy until we're told that he's Ryo's best mate. Lazy as fuck. Plus he's meant to be from the US, but has some borderline racist Jamaican accent.

Goro's annoying, but at least he's funny, and like people say, he has an arc. Plus it's a weird, unique, and nice touch that his "progress" is shown by the way he walks developing over time.

I did initially vote Tom in the Poll...I mean Tom at least teaches you a move...but I don't know...Goro does have that sweet Yankii style going for him. Goro does kind of remind me of Kanji from P4...badass outer shell but really just sweet at heart.
