I was just playing Spider-Man 2. It's so insane the amount of top tier quality action and set pieces the game has.
Yu Suzuki said that it's important that a game properly staggers out it's action sequences but Spider-Man 2 is balls to the wall action every second so I don't know Shenmue 3 just seems rather quaint in comparison.
It got me thinking I wish I could take just 1 or 2 of those type of quality action scenes from Spiderman 2 and put them in Shenmue 3.
I know Spider-Man 2 had like 10x the budget but still I feel the "big moment" for Shenmue 3 is the end with the fire but even just 1 of the probably hundreds of cutscenes Spiderman 2 has outclasses it.
It would be so amazing if Yu Suzuki had been given $200 million for Shenmue 3.
