Demo Backup

So I've downloaded and installed the demo. No way in heck that my PC will run it but I've recieved part of what was owed.

I am wanting to copy the demo over to an external HDD for safe keeping when I have a PC that can run it. I'd have preferred to burn to DVD but the demo is nearly double the size of my 4.7GB DVDs I have.

Regardless of that, I can't seem to separate the demo from the Epic games store to backup the demo. Any idea how to do that?

As far as I know the demo is drm-free.
I copied the folder containing the demo and ran it on a laptop without Epic Game Launcher and it worked.
So in short, as far as I know, you should be able to copy the folder containing the demo without any problems.

I don't really understand what you're trying to do that's causing it not to work.
Just copy or zip the drive:\\Programs\Epic Games\Shenmue3Demo\ directory. The folder can be moved or copied and the demo EXE inside will still run even if epic games store is not installed.

Over time (once it's not as prominent as it is) I will add a demo download to the main site for preservation purposes.
