Fans of Shenmue are obvsly Vets of this genre of top tier immersive sim experiences, so do you think Yu Suzuki and Shenmue will be dethroned by these heavy hitters from what you've seen and read/heard? What will you guys be expecting going into these two games world-building/game design wise? Will it push the gaming envelope forward a decade or just another shenmue esque formula wrapped in a new coat of paint of higher graphical fidelity ala RDR2? I'm still hoping to see one day another game capture a set-piece/time period like shenmue to the point where we can even trace the path irl as many fans have done via tourism.
