Im not finished with the game so i did not check if there is a topic for this allready.

Anyway, i was getting my VIP Card for the casino and lost the match with the thugs. Instead of restarting then game sent me back to first encounter with them wich was at the bench before the QTE...
Its so frustrating! Anyone had this problem before?
 
This really sounds like an annoying and major bug (I won the fight the first time so I don‘t know if it would have happened, too) but did you load one of your savegames from before the fight? There should be at least one automatic save available and you wouldn‘t have to do everything again.
 
I had to load my previous save file.
I gained 7 levels i kung fu before i went to the casino so that got lost too.. Its really anoying when this happens.

For me its ok, but for a reviewer then it can be a very very bad
 
If you’re talking about
after you’ve gotten the VIP card and fight the thugs immediately upon entering the VIP zone
, I forgot to eat and lost the fight but was restarted at the top of the stairs. The only interaction I recall with the thugs immediately before this was
chasing the dude who steals the bag. I failed pretty much every QTE and had to replay it 10-15 times, but each time I restarted at the beginning of the 3-4 prompt section that I had failed on.

Sounds like you were just extremely unlucky.
 
A random glitch then.

When i failed the casino fight the game went to the loading screen.
The loading screen where you have a long bar and random info about ryo or Shenhua

I might have had a loading screen like that, but yeah. Back at the top of the stairs afterwards.

I haven’t had any serious issues so far during my play through although after leaving Bailu, I’ve experienced a lot of frame stuttering and some awful pop ins (to the point where I frequently enter a store and it’s empty and then after a few seconds later, the store keeper spawns in on top of me). The game hasn’t been optimized very well for the base PS4 and it doesn’t surprise me that there are glitches.
