The questions are dumb. They are saying a lot, and asking a lot, whilst actually saying very little. Lots of fluff about "visions".

These journalists didn’t know anything about Shenmue. Looks like their boss told them to ask some questions to an old Japanese guy about his weird game. They scouted Wikipedia and imagined some of them during free time between e3 parties.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious they had done no research and knew nothing about Shenmue. They just read out long, asinine, vapid questions that provided no opportunity for Yu Suzuki to really elaborate or expand on interesting details about the game or its development.
