I always wanted to see where they coulda been today with their savviness for imploring quality visual tech and to see this project bloom into an official IP.

I’ve heard of them, they’re responsible for the Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean games. Aren’t they supposed to be a subsidiary company of Square Enix?

I've only heard of them from their Sega connection with Resonance of Fate. What do you mean by them falling from grace? They seem to still be in business and doing fairly unique stuff.

The Star Ocean Mobile Game Is Shutting Down

Barely a year after launching in the West, free-to-play mobile RPG Star Ocean: Anamnesis is shutting down. Players have until November 5 to finish collecting characters before Square Enix pulls the plug.

Stuff they used to do before fading into the background.

Oh and the various studio split over creative differences didn't help much either since they bled/loss a lot of talents.
