I’m having a baby boy!

Congrats! Prepare for very little free time (lucky to get more than 1-2 hours of gaming time per week!). Not to mention sleepless nights and major stress :) My daughter just turned one year old so I know the score. She's totally adorable though, you don't get anything good without putting the effort in :) and its major effort!

Congrats on your future Shenmue disciple. :)

This was definitely my experience, I did a lot of the night feeds etc. and when I wasn't working or doing my share with the baby I was trying to catch up on sleep. I will say it's important for new parents to know that there's light at the end of the tunnel, my son goes to bed at almost exactly 7pm every night and sleeps right through until a little after 6am which leaves me plenty of time for hobbies.

What I do find is that now I manage my time better and make a conscious effort to be productive with my free time, I'm also a lot better on the rare occasion I don't get enough sleep for whatever reason.

Congrats! Just had my first baby girl about a month ago, it's nice...

Congratulations! That is awesome, dude. All the best to your kiddo, the missus and your lovely self; new adventure starting soon!

I know I should be congratulating @Birty on throwing his life away, but I feel the need to make one thing clear...

Openshaw is not close to Oldham.

...also I've lived in Audenshaw, Droylsden and Carrbrook before. That last one's weird in particular coz the bins are sorted by Oldham council, it has an SK postcode, the county's Cheshire, Stalybridge appears on the address (which is part of Greater Manchester), and the local council's Tameside.

Congrats though mate.

Thanks mate, and yes I agree Carrbrook doesn't make sense.

Congratulations! If any of you people need baby or child advise - my son is going to be 10 years old in a few weeks. So I have been through most phases of childhood already. I mean - his childhood. :sneaky:
