Large phoenix and dragon mirrors in the cave at end of shenmue 2

To apparently find treasure as a kind of map, which is now irrelevant because you can apparently also find your way by using an old scroll from a belltower in Bailu.

All I can fathom is it charged up or did something to the sword of seven stars in order for it be used as a key but even that doesn't really make much sense now that I think about it lol
