Oh oh's Sega's Moba Sakura wars flopped

It's already being shutdown.

I'm gonna be pissed if Sega really killed the series with this.
yup, SEGA messed up big time. $30m down the drain. Badly stitched dev team(Fresh recruits) who didn't know what they were doing with this established Legacy IP, & the director was power tripping, trying to sleep around and promote VA's and Influencers as an under the table gig...resulting in a toxic work enviroment for everyone. SEGA pulling the plug is more a saving grace in a way as well.

This is very bad and good at the same time. It is very bad because It could mean the end of the Sakura Taisen Franchise which would be a shame there i so much potential left in that IP. But it good because it shows that mobile gaming is not the only future and that not everything turned into a mobil game turns out to be Hugh sucess. so mabye that is a leason for Sega not to let the classic gaming die and put more money into that Segment as well.

That's awesome news! Could you link some of what you're talking about?
Here's a more direct article where they've gotten positive affirmations from Nagoshi & higher ups about the Ip series's future.

The anime did quite good as well it seems.
