PC: How to launch Shenmue I or II executables without initial launcher window?

Is there a way to launch either Shenmue I or II individually on PC, without the launcher window appearing? In the game's folders, they each have their own .exe file but it still opens the launcher, regardless…

You could replace the launcher for one that allows launching the games directly. There are a couple around at least, like this one.

To be honest, you don't even need to use that, but it'll work regardless.

The best method is just patching it out in each of the executables
