Hey all!
I have seen various hacks on Genesis and other classic systems by some talented folks that alter the sprites within a game to look like other characters. One specifically was on the Genesis where someone modded Streets of Rage 2 to have the Ninja Turtles as playable characters instead of the regular characters. I was curious on if anyone had tried to alter the sprites of a different game to change them so that they look like Ryo? It would be really cool to have this on a Game Gear title and have a Shenmue mod of a game to take on the go. Is this even possible on Game Gear?
I ended up torturing myself and making this Game Gear box art last year:
In the full version of the image (click on it), you can see a pixelated Ryo. Someone else made him and I merely cut and pasted him in but imagine how cool that would be to have on the go?
