Hi everyone! We have some exciting news to share today:
The Dojo is getting an upgrade! In October, we will be migrating the Shenmue Dojo to a faster, dedicated server. What this means is a snappier and more responsive experience when browsing and posting. It also means we will be better equipped to handle any large influx of traffic without the site slowing down or crashing entirely.
As a consequence of this, we do expect to have some scheduled downtime on the 15th of October.
As with any major changes to site infrastructure, there is also the potential for unscheduled downtime should any unexpected hiccups arise (a wise man once said: "always a hitch"), but we will do our best to minimize this and keep the community informed wherever possible.
During any downtime, the Dojo main site & forums will be inaccessible. However, you will still be able to find your regularly scheduled Dojo content as well as status updates across our social media channels:
