Shenmue 2 Izumi Fight

I saw a video on youtube that had Ryo fighting the girl that works at the Tomato Convenience store. Am I the only person who didn't know about this? How do you trigger this fight?

You can find her on the top floor of the Pine Game Arcade in the Golden Quarter. She's got a killer QTE during the fight that I have never been able to beat! I'm looking forward to trying again in the re-release. If you are able to beat her, it unlocks... something???

You end up fighting her on the top floor of the arcade in the Golden Quarter. If you beat her, it unlocks duck racing, I believe? You have to follow a series of events.

Here you go:

In order to unlock the Duck Races, Ryo must following this sequence of events:

• Start the Fangmei Birthday Event in order to meet Eileen.
• Meet Izumi Takano who can be found working at the Tomato Convenience Store in the Golden Quarter.
• Obtain the Big Bronze Medal from the Vacant Lot in the Green Market Quarter.
• Enter into the Street Fights at the top floor of the Pine Game Arcade in the Golden Quarter and beat both Eileen and Izumi.
• Visit Izumi at the Tomato Convenience Store again and agree to go along with her. She will take Ryo to the Wise Men's Quarter to show him the Duck Racing.

Those instructions are outdated. You don't need to start the Fengmei birthday stuff at all, Eileen appears in Pigeon park during Disc 2 regardless of whether you've talked to Fengmei at all.

Basically, the only requirements for the Bronze Medal are talking to Izumi and talking to Eileen. And there are 3 ways to get the Bronze Medal, they are listed here:

Everything after you get the Medal is still up to date.

Nice one - I've never unlocked duck racing so was just going off what I found on the net.
