Stamina...

I like the idea of the stamina and how it encourages you to actually get money to buy food, but I think tying it directly to health was a horrible idea, it should of been a separate stamina bar altogether that when depleted starts depleting ryo's health rather than just making it feel like ryo is about to drop dead after walking 100 feet..

Someone mentioned in another discussion uncoupling stamina from your overall health XP rather having it drain a separate energy gauge which effects your ability to train, spar and fight. Suzuki mentioned in one interview about researching different foods and benefits it has with martial arts training, obviously that was simplified in final game. However with that idea it would allow you to run freely but still have to get food before you can get most from training.
