Well, you're more likely able to mod Shenmue 3 if its offline, therefore I support that.

Not really, I mod everything in S3 from executable changes to PAK file changes etc just fine while in online mode. Shenmue III overall is pretty good under-the-hood, there aren't really any unnecessary encryption routines etc, other than the standard UE4 stuff
