I was under the impression the extra stretch goals were achieved by Deep Silver, so it would've been released on Steam with "double content bigger than Shenmue 2," but with 5 months less of polish for the original August release date and worse profit margins with the Valve fees. They only timed the new stretch goal achievment message to distract and quell some of the rage.

Regardless, enjoyed the interview with Adam.

I hear Adam say that the DLC is going to be non-essential, but the Digital Deluxe version has a Season Pass... which really makes it sound more substantial, I can't see it jsut being Extra costumes or Move Scrolls.

Great show. As for “marketing” Shenmue, even the Japanese commercials were pretty fucked up if you’ve seen them before.
