I gave it a solid 8. In terms of gameplay it was more or less everything I wanted it to be. Unfortunately the story let it down quite a bit and the supporting characters weren’t developed as much as I'd have liked.

As somebody who’s always been more interested in the atmosphere created by the games, the poor story progression wasn’t enough to hurt the score too much, but I can understand how others might score it more harshly because of this.
